I believe the designation of Kingston as an opportunity area in the new London Plan is unsound and I ask GLA to verify it has followed due process in its decision making.

We're waiting for Serge Janjic to read a recent response and update the status.

Dear Greater London Authority,

Please can you send me the separate and specific written procedures that the GLA acting through its officers or other representatives and/ or the Mayor must follow in order for the GLA and/ or the Mayor to approve and/ or adopt formally documents that provide supplementary planning advice ("SPAs") or supplementary planning guidance ("SPGs") to London Plan policies?

Please can you provide me with separate, specific and complete information that lays out the procedures that must be followed by the GLA and/ or the Mayor for any decision or action of whatsoever nature to be taken following the approval and/or adoption by the GLA and/ or the Mayor of SPAs and SPGs, including but not limited to: i. procedures for publishing the approval or adoption document relating to a SPA and/or a SPG on the GLA website and/or elsewhere, ii. procedures which lay out how a SPA and/or a SPG which has been approved or adopted by the GLA and/ or the Mayor can be used to inform decisions and actions by the local authority to which it relates, iii. procedures which lay out how a SPA and/ or a SPG which has been approved or adopted by the GLA and/ or the Mayor can be used to inform decisions and actions by the GLA and/or the Mayor, and iv. procedures for storing of the original signed copy of the approval or adoption document relating to an approved or adopted SPA and/or SPG?

Yours faithfully,

Serge Janjic (Kingston upon Thames)
