Thank you for your request for information received on 12 December 2017,
in which you asked for the following information:

 

·               a copy of the Certificate of Best Consideration provided
by the Valuation Office Agency in 2013/2014 to Haringey Borough Council
regarding the sale of Apex House; or

·               if Haringey Council does not hold this Certificate of Best
Consideration that they give permission to the Valuation Office Agency to

·               to state whether this Certificate of Best Consideration
from the VOA regarding Apex House actually exists.

 

My response is as follows:

 

The Council does not hold a Certificate of Best Consideration for Apex
House and such a document does not exist in this form. As set out in the
15 July 2014 Cabinet Report ‘Seven Sisters Regeneration, Tottenham –  Apex
House & Wards Corner’, Grainger’s offer for the purchase of the Apex site
was certified by the District Valuer as ‘best consideration’. This was
confirmed to the Council in a Valuation Report from the Valuation Office
Agency (VOA), dated 9 May 2014.
