Response to your environmental information requests dated 19 February 2024.
We write in response to your request for information under the Environmental Information Regulations 2004
(‘
the EIRs’). Scotland Gas Networks plc and Southern Gas Networks plc are both subject to the EIRs and on that
basis we have carried out a search within the information held by these companies.
Please see our response to each of your request points in turn below –
(1) Please state the name of the dataset(s) used by SGN in its financial model ing and/or scenario
planning which relates to the revenue that may be generated by the sale of hydrogen for home
heating; and (2) Please provide a copy of this dataset or datasets.
SGN’s H100 Fife project wil be using hydrogen for home heating. The sale of hydrogen to third party
shippers wil not generate a revenue for SGN. The arrangement is described in 3.2.2 of SGN’s published
bid submission, a copy of which can be foun
