Dear Mr Townsend,

 

This is to acknowledge receipt of your request for information relating to
Human Resources - processing of organisation staff/Healthcare Operations
department. This was received on 18 December 2019.

 

The FOI Act 2000 allows us to aggregate FOI requests relating to same or
similar information if received within 60 consecutive working days (Fees
Regulations section 44-46 of the FOI Act).

 

Therefore, we have decided to consolidate the requests below relating to
staffing.

 

We can confirm that your request is being dealt with under the terms of
the Freedom of Information Act 2000 and that you can expect to receive a
reply within the timescale specified.

The timescale allowed for a response under the FOI legislation is 20
working days therefore, including any impending public holidays, the
deadline for a response is 20 January 2020. If we are able to respond to
you earlier than this, we will do so.

members in the team.

Request 6:

How many staff do you currently employ to undertake RTT validation tasks?

RTT validation is managed by all staff and the data quality team is
responsible for RTT validation.

Request 7:

How many more permanent or temporary staff are expected to be needed over
the next 12 months?

This request does not fall within the scope of the Freedom Of Information
Act 2000. The Act covers any recorded information that is held by a public
authority in England, Wales and Northern Ireland, and by UK-wide public
authorities based in Scotland. The Trust does not hold any recorded
information which is disclosable under the FOI Act 2000 in relation to
your request. 

 

Under FOIA 2000, the Trust is not required to create any information in
order to answer a request. I should explain that the FOIA 2000 is to do
with transparency of information held by public authorities. It gives an
individual the right to access recorded information held by public
authorities. The FOIA 2000 does not require public authorities to generate
information, or to answer questions, provide explanations or give
opinions, unless this is recorded information that they already hold.

How many open RTT pathways do you have currently?

We had 19,152 open RTT pathways as at the end of November 2019.

Request 9:

How many staff do you currently employ to undertake clinical coding
validation tasks? 8 staff

Request 10:

How many more permanent or temporary staff are expected to be needed over
the next 12 months?

This request does not fall within the scope of the Freedom Of Information
Act 2000. The Act covers any recorded information that is held by a public
