Human Resources - processing of organisation staff

The request was partially successful.

Dear North Bristol NHS Trust,

Please could you provide the following information:

How many joiners, movers, and leavers do you process per year?

How many staff/whole time equivalents manage this process?

Do you have an automated system to manage ESR?

Do you use a single sign on solution across the organisation to manage the accounts?
If so, which solution do you have?

How many people are in your organisation's data quality team?

Yours faithfully,

Clive Townsend

Dear Mr Townsend

Thank you for your request for information of 18th December 2019, apologies for the delay. In compliance with the Freedom of Information Act 2000, our response is below and attached.

1. How many joiners, movers, and leavers do you process per year?
This is an annual average for the period 1st April 2018 to 31st December 2019.

Movers are defined as those changing their hours, job role, pay or team. There are other changes currently processed that cannot be captured through the standard reports used.

2. How many staff/whole time equivalents manage this process?
This reflects the total wte in the teams who have the most direct input into processing starters, leavers and movers. However these teams carry out other functions therefore it is not accurate to assume that this is the resource available to process starters, leavers and movers and should not be used as such.

3. How many people are in your organisation's data quality team?
This response refers to the individual who has responsibility for the data quality within our electronic staff record, however as per above this is not the individual's exclusive function.

We should advise that you have the right to complain about this response by reference to the complaints procedure of the North Bristol NHS Trust, in which case you should write to:
