Human Health Category SERICOL Contamination Environmental Protection Act 1990

The request was successful.

Dear Thanet District Council,

(1) What human health category, under the act, did TDC apply to the Sericol massive contamination of Thanet water supply discovered 1993 ?

(2) What reasoned and expert advice did TDC take under the act ?

(3) Has TDC ever responded to an application for mandatory information re this site and contamination such as from planning applicants like RIVEROAK (Environmental Information Regulations)

(4) When TDC received the Health Protection Agency opinion in 2009, that epidemiology study is required, did a review of the SERICOL massive contamination occur and if so what are the details

Yours faithfully,

Richard Card

Dear Thanet District Council,

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.

I am writing to request an internal review of Thanet District Council's handling of my FOI request 'Human Health Category SERICOL Contamination Environmental Protection Act 1990'.

I find no response TDC. If I am making a computer error please tell me. You are aware I have raised a query with the officer and TDC leadership about a possible compromise on the officer if she previously worked for one of the would be Manston Developers.

You are aware that this FOI is for inclusion in the submission I will send to National Planning re Manston application. Whatever response you make

You are aware now that in 2001 Cllr Revd Stu Piper was excellent hospice chaplain who administered for us The Final Prayer of John Allen a WW2 veteran who was complainant about 6th Thanet Gun Range and matters paramilitary in area. That Final Prayer is my authority to use John's evidence.

You are aware now that in 1998 TDC Cllr Pat SEBASTIAN in compliance with Terrorism Law statutory reporting duties called in Met Counter Terrorism to Thanet and that recently Mr SEBASTIAN confirmed this for National Crime Agency.

Please answer this FOI.

You are aware that some aspects of that submission have already been reported to National Crime Agency under statutory reporting terms Terrorism Act 2000. In fact I added to that report yesterday.

You should be aware that some time ago on internet a pro Manston comment boasted about your TDC FOI response would run me ragged.

A full history of my FOI request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address: https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/h...

Dear TDC FOISupport,

Excellent response. Thank you. It sets out your position for me to report to National Planning who presumably will take a decision re your interpretation of law. And it would not be an appropriate use of this public site or our time for us to engage in a legal argument that is anyway National Planning jurisdiction.

I am particularly grateful for the substantive information re RIVEROAK never applying for the Environmental Hazard Information.

Yours sincerely,

Richard Card
