Environmental Information Regulation
This covers all environmental information held by the Council.
Examples: Planning Applications, details of proposed road works, flood
information, pollution information etc.

From the next working day that the request is received we have 20 working
days to respond.

Section 7 of the Data Protection Act (Subject Access Request)
This section of the Data Protection legislation only relates to requests
for information about the requester or a client if you are acting on their
behalf.
Examples: Personnel file, Housing file, Council Tax/Housing Benefit
information etc.

We have 40 days from the date of receipt to respond.

which is being processed according to the Freedom of Information Act

The legislation allows us 20 working days to respond which takes us to
27/11/2019.  There are some circumstances under which this deadline may be
extended legally but we will inform you as soon as we know if these apply.

 

 

We note your comments in regard to the request made to the Authority in
30/10/2019 and thank you for bringing this to our attention.  We will
instigate an investigation with the relevant departments in order to
ascertain whether the request was recorded as being received; we will
inform you of the outcome of the investigation.  The Council regards all
requests for information with the utmost of importance and it concerns us
to hear that your original request for information was not responded to.

being circulated to the relevant Service Areas.

 

In the interests of efficiency and the environment the Council may decide
