Below I have provided a summary of complaints received against CAFOD
(285776). Please note that our record-keeping policy means that we have
no information relating to complaints received more than 7 years ago.

Case number 556759 - received 08/06/2006 - complaint about the charity and
its proposed sale of a property.
Case number 595382 - received 15/01/2007 - complaint about the charity's
failure to remove the complainant from its mail-marketing list.
Case number C-279122 - received 08/10/2009 - complaint about claims made
by the charity as part of a fundraising appeal.
Email - received 14/01/2010 - complaint about the possibility that the
charity was using money raised by its Haiti Earthquake Appeal in East
Africa instead.

complaints. Where further details are available I will be happy to supply
them.

If you are unhappy with our response to your FOI request, have a complaint
or wish to request a review of our FOI decision, you should write to:

which will assist us when we review our response.

If you request a Decision Review you will be notified of our final

be calculated from the date on which you receive written notification of
the original decision. You will be deemed to have received written
notification on the day after the letter enclosing the decision was sent
or the same day if the decision was sent by email.

to the Information Commissioner (ICO) for a decision. Generally, the ICO
cannot make a decision unless you have exhausted our complaints
