Dear Dr Julian

Your Request for Information [FOI-357-14]

I am writing in response to your recent request for information.  In reply
to the questions you have asked we would advise you as follows

Your Question 1 :  How many HSJ (Health Services Journal) Award events
your Trust has attended in the financial year 2013-14

Our response:   We attended Three events

- The Patient Safety & Care Integration Awards in June 2013

- The HSJ Efficiency Awards in September 2013

- The HSJ Awards Ceremony in November 2013

Your Question 2:     How many Trust representatives attended each of the
above events in the financial year 2013-14

Our response:

Two members of staff attended the Patient Safety & Care Integration
Awards.

Five members of staff attended the HSJ Efficiency Awards

The Trust was short-listed for three awards in the HSJ Awards and fourteen
members of staff attended the Awards Event

Your Question 3:   Total expenditure on purchasing group tables and
individual places at each event, including bookings for forthcoming award
events in financial year 2014-15 .

Our response:   As much of the work around which a number of these bids
were based was conducted with external partners,   these companies shared
the costs of this hospitality with the Trust.   The total expenditure
incurred from NHS funds was £4600.     No bookings have been made for
forthcoming award events in 2014-15
