HS2 again

The request was successful.

Dear Natural England,

In a press release dated the 30th of March 2023, Buckinghamshire Council state "In recent weeks Buckinghamshire Council has become aware of HS2 cutting back trees in Sheephouse Wood.........HS2 have stated that the works are required for safety/technical reasons.....and they have been given permission by Natural England."

The woodland lies outwith the Act limits and no damage here is covered in the Environmental Statement. This means that any destructive work carried out here by HS2 would be quite illegal

Please tell me under what authority you gave permission and what reasoning you used.

Please disclose all emails and correspondence on this subject between NE and their agents and HS2 Ltd and their agents.

Thank you for your time and consideration.

Yours faithfully,

Marrk Keir

Dear Natural England,

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.

I am writing to request an internal review of Natural England's handling of my FOI request 'HS2 again'. The request clearly asks for "....... ALL correspondence BETWEEN ..." Please ensure I have ALL correspondence BETWEEN NE and HS2 and respective agents, not just FROM HS2

A full history of my FOI request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address: https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/h...

Yours faithfully,

Marrk Keir
