Subject: FOI - HR structural chart

Your request is being considered and you will receive a response within
the statutory timescale of 20 working days, subject to the application of
any exemptions. Where consideration is being given to exemptions the 20
working day timescale may be extended to a period considered reasonable
depending on the nature and circumstances of your request. In such cases
you will be notified and, where possible, a revised time-scale will be

Further to your request received on 05/10/2023, I confirm that the Council
has now considered your request under the Freedom of Information Act
2000. For ease of reference, I will now address each of your questions in
turn.

I would be grateful if you could provide me with the following
information, under the Freedom of Information Act:

• The current name of the Director of Human Resources

Dean Shoesmith

• The current name of the Head of Human Resources

There are four heads of HR:

Debbie Calliste Head of Adult Social Care & Health and Children, Young
People & Education

Gillian Bevan, Head of HR Resources & Assistant Chief Executives

Jennifer Sankar, Head of HR Housing Directorate & Sustainable Communities,
Regeneration & Economic Recovery

Katie Wallace, Head of Recruitment

• The current names of all the HR Business Partners

• The current names of the Officers responsible for Permanent Executive
recruitment tenders/proposals 

For the above two questions, it has been the custom and practice for the
Council to generally only release the names of staff down to ‘Head of
Service’ level, which the Council considers meets the Transparency Code
issued by the Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government and
as per Section 40 of the FOIA. Therefore we will not disclose the names of
any officers below this level of authority.  Furthermore the council
considers that this position is consistent with guidance issued by the
Information Commissioner, including a Decision Notice issued in respect of
a similar request FS50276863.
