Dear Buckinghamshire New University,

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.

You have failed to respond at all to my FOI. Please respond.

FOI Officer, Buckinghamshire New University

Dear Andrew

Thank you for your Freedom of Information (FOI) Request that was originally submitted on 9th July 2015. I apologise for the delay in responding to your query.

There has been a change of personnel dealing with FOI requests at the University and we have improved our processes for dealing with submissions.

In answer to your questions, the HR and Payroll contract expiry date is October 2016.

The BACS software contract does not expire by date. It expires under any of the following conditions plus a few others in the contract or if our procurement regulations require a review. The contract states:

“The Client may not transfer the Software permanently to another location or to other equipment without prior consent in writing ... which shall not be unreasonably withheld.”

"Provided that the Client has paid the current annual maintenance and support fee, the Client is entitled to receive new issues or updates of the .. Software free of charge for the modules and Users identified in Appendix 1. The Client may terminate this Agreement by giving three months’ prior written notice to V1 to take effect at the end of the then current maintenance and support period.”

The tendering of these services will be managed by the University's Procurement team.

Kind regards
