The quantity of casework registered by each of the councillors since that data (i.e. number of requests/referrals)

Dear Gundala Bagwari
We write in response to your recent enquiry in which you asked for:
The number of emails which the councillors for Hoylake and Meols Ward have
NOT replied to since 4 May 2023
The quantity of casework registered by each of the councillors since that
data (i.e. number of requests/referrals)
The quantity of casework registered by all 66 councillors since that data
(i.e. number of requests/referrals)
Please be advised that you will need to direct your enquiry to the
individual Councillors as Wirral Council does not hold the requested
information.
Elected Members are data controllers and responsible for their own
emails/casework. The Council does not record information relating to
contacts made with Councillors by their constituents as they deal with
enquiries from the public in a variety of ways. We are unable to assist
you with this enquiry.
Yours sincerely

Dear Wirral Metropolitan Borough Council,
Thank you but disappointing when transparency of our elected representatives is so crucial going forward.
I have seen previous requests for the volume of casework published, by councillor, and would be grateful if you could please reconsider that aspect of my request?
Yours faithfully,
Gundula Bagwari
Dear Gundula Bagwari
As previously advised, we do not hold information as to the number of
unanswered emails/enquiries sent to elected members. Councillors can
receive enquiries from their constituents in a number of ways - by email,
phone, in person or via social media. This is not monitored by the
Council.
Please clarify what is meant by 'casework' - we have previously provided
the number of information enquiries Councillors have made to officers, on
behalf of their constituents, using a case management system called
Councillor Net. However this is not representative of the total number of
emails or enquiries Councillors receive overall and does not provide any
indication as to their level of responsiveness. This information can only
be sought from the elected members directly.
Yours sincerely
