How much public money has been spent re ownership of the Holsworthy Memorial Hall

Richard Hutchings made this Freedom of Information request to Torridge District Council

This request has been closed to new correspondence from the public body. Contact us if you think it ought be re-opened.

Waiting for an internal review by Torridge District Council of their handling of this request.

Richard Hutchings

Dear Torridge District Council,
As a person who spends a lot of personal time (unpaid) with several local Holsworthy organisations, I am concerned as to how much money, not to mention the motive, is being, and has been, spent by Torridge District Council fighting for ownership of Holsworthy Memorial Hall.
The Hall is, and has been, run by unpaid volunteers with little help from Torridge who seem hail bent to see it fail.
I therefore demand to see proof of ALL expenditure made by Torridge DC over this pointless exercise.

Yours faithfully,
Richard Hutchings

Richard Hutchings

Dear Torridge District Council,

Thank you for your response.

I do not understand the "Zero" figure as I know that Torridge has engaged in various letters etc. with the Memorial Hall, and, more recently engaged the services of Foot Anstey, solicitors, to pursue the trustees, accusing them of illegally subletting, which, if Torridge are not claiming the hall as theirs, is none of their business.

Yours faithfully,

Richard Hutchings
