How much money is being wasted on Creative Diversity

Waiting for an internal review by British Broadcasting Corporation of their handling of this request.

Dear British Broadcasting Corporation,

Can you please set out the budget for the new Creative Diversity function, led by June Sarpong ?
Can you make public any of the business cases which led to the decision? If not, can you clarify what benefits or issues were identified to justify the new function?
Can you breakdown the new function by ethnic origin, sex, age and political affiliation?

Yours faithfully,

Jonny Public

Dear FOI Enquiries,

Thank you for your letter dated 08/10/2019, reference: RFI20191606.

I understand that you have not given a response to my FOI request because you do not recognise my name. I would like to request an internal review. This feels like an attempt to remain unaccountable.

I will be escalating this to the Information Commissioner and contacting the media unless this error is acknowledged and a response to the original request given.

I would also like an apology.

Yours sincerely,

Jonathan Public

Dear Sir/Madam,

Please see attached the BBC’s internal review of its response to your

Dear FOI Enquiries,

Please refer to the ICO guidance, "Consideration of requests without reference to the identity or motives of the applicant", paragraph 18, which states that just because an autbority believes that I am writing under a pseudonym doesn't mean the authority can not answer the request. Please also refer to paragraph 30 and 31 of the same document, in particular, "the Act provides a public right to information, not a right limited to certain individuals."

This feels like a sustained attempt at obfuscation.

I will be arranging for a similar request to be made by another interested party and will look to take the issue of not having my name recognised further. In particular, I will be pursuing this in the wider context of anti-white racism within the BBC.

Yours sincerely,

Jonny Public
