How Many Work Programme Staff Do you Employ?

The request was partially successful.

Dear Telford and Wrekin Council,

I have contacted you several times to ask you how many Work Programme staff you have working for you? And received no reply.
My nephew has been ordered by the jobcentre to work [for nothing] in your recycling centres for a second time via the Work Programme.
So my questions are thus:

1) How many Work Programme [also known as workfare, unpaid staff] jobseekers' from the jobcentre have you had working for you since 2012? And as well as your recycling centres where else are they employed?
2) How many of your paid staff have you laid off/made redundant since 2012?
3) How many paid staff have you taken on since 2012?
3) Who decided to take on Work Programme jobseekers? And how long have you been employing Work Programme jobseekers'?
4) How much longer will you be taking on Work Programme jobseekers'?
5) Does the Work Programme jobseekers get anything off you for their free labour? e.g a reduction on their council tax bill?
6) How many Work Programme jobseekers' have you had sanctioned via the Jobcentre?
7) How many people refused to work for nothing on the Work Programme?
8) Why are you employing jobseekers on the Work Programme twice? n.b. my nephew has to work in your recycling centre for a second term.
9) How many Work Programme jobseekers' were taken on as paid staff?

I trust you will be able to answer my nine questions?

Yours faithfully,

C Robinson

Sian is right there is help available at Boycott Workfare,

I don't know if anyone knows this but the companies that benefit from workfare get paid to take on the jobseeker and then receives unpaid labour so they are making money hand over fist at the expense of the taxpayer This evil practice has to stop and may we never forget the companies/charities/authorities that abused the jobless in such a manner.

Even those that support workfare surely must realise that the travesty of workfare comes out of their taxes and seriously inflates the welfare bill. Whilst Corporate business (that many don't pay tax in the UK) are benefiting from your taxes.
