The University started recording the data centrally from 19 September
2020. Therefore, from 19 September 2020 to 8 March 2021, 491 students
reported to the University as testing positive for Covid-19.
Please note that the data above is collected when a student voluntarily
reports as testing positive. The University does not request for the
verification of the test results, or the type of Covid-19 tests taken by
the students (Lateral Flow test or Polymerase Chain Reaction). Please note
that the majority of these cases are not associated with campus contact
and that many of our students have not been on campus since the start of
