How many staff have been or remain suspended due to leaving a cell door open?

Waiting for an internal review by Scottish Prison Service of their handling of this request.

Dear Scottish Prison Service,

I would like to know how many staff have went off shift and left a cell door opened throughout the SPS estate within the last year?

Please breakdown numbers according to each establishment

Also provide a note of how many were suspended due to these breaches, broken down into each establishment.

Also, if not suspended for above breaches, provide any results of discipline proceedings ie verbal warning, written warning etc

Yours faithfully,

Mark Cunningham

Dear Scottish Prison Service,

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.

I am writing to request an internal review of Scottish Prison Service's handling of my FOI request 'How many staff have been or remain suspended due to leaving a cell door open?'.

[ I believe that the response is ncorrect, staff at HMP Shotts have recently been dealt with via the Code of Conduct for leaving a cell door open after a carer has finished their duties. Please review this response ]

A full history of my FOI request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address: https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/h...

Yours faithfully,

Mark Cunningham
