Dear Leicestershire Police and Crime Panel,
I'd like to understand how many crime reports have been made to Leicestershire police and how many of those have concluded with Leicestershire Police refusing to prosecute the individual responsible for committing the crime due to the prosecution being "not in the public interest" over the last 10 years.
I'd also like to know specifically how many crime reports involve an individual making threats toward members of the public, their property or physical threats of violence or to kill and how many of these have concluded with Leicestershire Police determining that it is "not in the public interest" to prosecute over the same time period.
I would like the information to be provided on a year by year basis, with the number of reports made and the number of reports concluded as "not in the public interest" to prosecute.
