How Many Patients are in Hospital Longer than 4 Weeks?

Department of Health and Social Care did not have the information requested.

Dear Department of Health,

Please can you supply the following information:-

For the last 3 years that data is available:-

1) The number of hospital admissions that result in a patient being actually in hospital for a continuous period of a) between 28 and 56 days and b) more than 56 days?

2) For the data in 1) above list the main reasons for hospitalisation as a percentage. eg "50% Accidents 50% Illness or Disease".
