Thank you for your request which was received by the Welsh Assembly Government on 1 June. You wrote:
I understand that the Welsh Assembly has in excess of over 80 offices, many in different countries, and I wish to know:-
 
1. Exactly how many offices that the Welsh Assembly has under it's jurisdiction?
 
2. What Country any particular office is in......... i.e.  Paris. ( 2 offices, perhaps?)  1. Seoul. 1. Munich. Hong Kong. Milan..................et. etc. etc.
 
3. Exactly how much does it cost in Salaries, Ownership of the Office,  Rent........etc. etc. etc. to actually run each office per year? i.e. Paris £000,000 ? Seol £000,000 ?
 
I interpreted your request as asking for a list of all countries where the Welsh Assembly Government has an office and if more than one office, the number. You also asked for all associated annual running costs, including salaries, for each office.

In response to your first question, the Welsh Assembly Government’s administrative estate in Wales comprises a total of 72 properties (position as at end May 2010). Included in these figures are 10 properties which are predominantly held for specialist purposes.The number of properties outside of Wales and overseas currently totals 14.

In response to your second question, the following table provides details of the locations of the Welsh Assembly Government’s administrative estate and overseas offices.

In response to your final question, the Welsh Assembly Government is not able to provide a breakdown by property of salary costs associated with the management of its administrative estate and overseas offices.
