How many non-qualified teachers are currently working in Essex County Council Schools?

The request was partially successful.

Dear Essex County Council Education Department,

How many unqualified / non-qualified teachers are working currently in Essex Schools, please?

If it is easier, please just give data for the different qualifications held by all teachers broken down by type of qualification.

What is the minimum qualification / level required for someone to teach in an Essex school? How does this compare to five and ten years ago, please?

Please supply data broken down by all types
e.g.: primary, senior, and schools for children with particular or additional schools.

How does this compare to five years ago and ten years ago?

Thank you,

Yours faithfully,

P. Smith
