Interesting that they are still quoting DPA 1998 legislation.
Legislation which has been repealed and replaced by DPA 2018 (GDPR).

The DWP are well aware of this as they are using DPA 2018 (GDPR) to deny benefits advisors 'Implicit consent' to discuss clients Universal Credit claims.
