I would like the data for the past 5 years for the wards Idle & Thackley please. There has been a spikes in crime and this will help me glean some information into crime prevention and help residents in the local area to get a better idea of what is going on and to also help the police.

All I am requesting is number of families, convicted prisoners and migrants please.

Mark Dewar, Bradford City Council

Dear Alec

I refer to the freedom of information request submitted to Bradford
Council on 17 October 2020.  Your request, and the Council’s response, are
both detailed below.

REQUEST

It is known some anti-social families are relocated from different areas
around the Country to another part of the UK by Councils'.  This also
includes migrants sent here.

I would like the data for the past 5 years for the wards Idle & Thackley

COUNCIL’S RESPONSE

Bradford Council does not hold the information you requested on refugees
and would direct you to the Home Office for asylum seekers information.

However here is a link to publicly available crime data . The Ward isn’t
included as part of the dataset so it requires the user to use a best fit
lookup table from LSOA to Ward – here is one from ONS
([1]https://geoportal.statistics.gov.uk/data...

The Latitude/Longitude is also available so this can be used to map crimes
and look at certain wards/neighbourhoods.

This is the site for open data about crime and policing in England, Wales
and Northern Ireland. [2]https://data.police.uk/

You can download [3]street-level crime, outcome, and stop and search data
in clear and simple CSV format and explore the [4]API containing detailed
crime data and information about individual police forces and
neighbourhood teams.

You can also download data on police activity, and a range of data
collected under the [5]police annual data requirement (ADR) including
arrests and 101 call handling.

All the data on this site is made available under the [6]Open Government
Licence v3.0.

In accordance with the Freedom of Information Act, if you are not
satisfied with the reply to your request you can ask for a review. A
request for a review must be submitted within 40 working days by emailing
us at [7][Bradford City Council request email] or by writing to Corporate  Information
Governance Team, City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council, City
Hall, Centenary Square, Bradford, BD1 1HY.

If you are still not satisfied with the outcome of the internal review you
have the right of appeal to the Information Commissioner who can be
contacted at: Information Commissioner’s Office, Wycliffe House, Water
Lane, Wilmslow, Cheshire, SK9 5AF
