Dear British Transport Police,

Can you advise who monitors and is responsible for the surveillance cameras at coventry train station. BTP or a rail network?

There are cameras within the train station grounds but seem to also cover the central 6 retail park as there are a trio of dome cameras facing all angles.

I would also like to know how you use the footage of people faces, car registrations etc. Is every bit of footage reviewed? If not what makes footage reviewed? Are people displayed on screens for your staff to see?

How are peoples faces, car registrations and footage of people minding their own business in their cars used, stored and destroyed?

Are you able to record people in a car park that relates to a retail park not using the station?

This request is made under the FOI and/or the DPA Acts.

Yours faithfully,

C Smith
