Housing development

The request was successful.

Dear Scottish National Investment Bank,

Could you please set out how much the Bank has invested in housing developers since its creation, specifying the names of the companies and the sites developed.

I would also like to know how many of the units developed are for private rent, buy-to-let, and social housing, preferably by site.

Yours faithfully,

Ric Lander

Dear Mr Lander – thanks for your email, being a freedom of information
request, of which I acknowledge receipt. Normally, I would advise that we
will consider your request and provide a formal response within 20 working
days, as required by the relevant legislation. However, given that nature
of your request might I suggest that in the first instance you review the
information already on our website which shows the Bank’s portfolio of
investments. This includes the three housing development investments we
have made – one of which is direct (Strathcarron Homes) and two of which
are investments into fund structures which develop and release housing
stock (Social and Sustainable Housing Fund (SASH II) and PfP Mid-Market
Rent Fund). Hopefully, this information will be sufficient for your
purposes but should there be more information which you would like, please
let us know and we will seek to assist you.
