Housing benefit and council tax benefit mandatory reconsiderations

1, the number of mandatory reconsiderations lodged against housing benefit and council tax benefit decisions for each of the last four years
2, the number of mandatory reconsiderations in favour of the individual claimant
3, the identity of the reviewing body, ie the council or an outsourced provider and, if the latter, the identity of that outsourced provider.

Please could you clarify what you mean by “mandatory reconsiderations”?

 

The Freedom of Information Act states that we must respond to a Freedom of
Information request within 20 working days, however, the 20 working days
do not include any time spent clarifying a request.  Therefore, once we
have received your clarification, we can continue processing your request
within this time frame.

 

You can provide your clarification by writing to the address above,
