Hotels and other accomodation used by asylum seekers or refugees or migrants
Dear Home Office,
Under the Freedom of Information Act I would like to request the total number of electoral wards, since 2018 until present, that were used to temporarily house asylum seekers whilst their cases are either being processed or they are waiting for their cases to start being processed.
For the purpose of this message, asylum seekers could also mean refugees or migrants, or other groups of people that have travelled to the UK by "small boats".
I am not seeking to identify individual hotels or asking for specific date information. A data set like the below would be beneficial:
| Ward name | Total hotels used |
| ------------------ | ---------------------- |
| Ealing North | 10 |
| Ilford South | 4 |
If another hotel was used in the same ward then the number would increase by one.
If the same hotel was used in the same word for a separate time, the number would also increase by one.
Yours faithfully,
Lee Davies
