Dear Department of Health and Social Care,

Please could you provide me the following information under the Freedom of Information Act:

1) How many hospitals & clinics are there in England? Please could you provide the data separately for both hospitals and clinics, and separately as regards to whether the hospitals/clinics are publicly or privately owned (or a mix of both).

2) How many A&E (emergency services) are there in England?

3) How many Urgent Care centres are there in England?

4) Please provide a list of all hospitals/clinics with addresses in England. Please indicate which ones have either A&E or Urgent Care. If you had geographic reference points for them that would be ideal.

Yours faithfully,

Cecilia Solis
