With reference to your recent email of Thursday 20 July requesting information under the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act 2000. As per section 10 of the Act, you can expect a response no later than 20 working days from the date of receipt of your request. We will reply to your request by 16/8/2017, at the very latest.

There may be a fee payable for this information. This will be considered and you will be informed if a fee is payable. In this event the fee must be paid before the information is processed and released. The 20 day time limit for responses is suspended until receipt of the payment. If there is a fee payable we will write to you again to let you know the process in this event.

For your information, the Act defines a number of exemptions which may prevent the release of the information you have requested. We will assess whether any of the exemption categories apply to your request (as per PART 11 of the Act) and if they do, or if there is a delay due to the application of an exemption we will contact you and keep you informed.

Mr Cope, in reference to your Freedom of Information request, reference number F040717, requesting information on Hospitality Budget.

I can confirm that we not do have a set Hospitality Budget.

We do however have a set budget for catering of meetings for 2017/18, which is as follows

Catering for meetings total £292,581.

This figures covers all meetings that CCEA may conduct, such as teacher training, moderator meetings, examination meetings and other evets for teachers and students.

This is not a final total spend, that figure will not be available until March 2018.

Requesting an internal review
