I am surprised that there is no response to Mr Shorrocks request for information as to hospitality costs.
can you please
1. Provide total costs of hospitality in the last full financial year with a breakdown of events with the numbers attending showing total costs where the expenditure for the individual event was over £500.

Our records show that we did in fact reply to Mr Shorrocks' request on the 8th December 2008 at 14:55. A copy of the letter sent with that email is attached to this email for your records.

Dear Sir or Madam,
Thank you for the response to my FOI request. It was not in the form that I asked for but the information can be assumed from your letter to Mr Shorrock. Although I note that you actually declined to provide the information as the government does on the grounds of disproportionate costs.
Please use this e mail as authority to close the request rather than having to provide me with the same answer regarding cost.
