Horn Lane Air Quality - Annual Assessment for inclusion in National Network III

Dear Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs,

Further to my previous request (RFI 0003834), I would request a copy of the assessment made for the Horn Lane Air Quality Monitoring Station for 2009 .

The 2009 assessment was withheld from the previous response as it fell under the exception in Regulation 12,(4),(d) of the Environmental Information Regulations 2004 which relates to information which is still in the course of completion. It was expected that it would be ready for publication in summer 2011.

Yours faithfully,

T Henderson

The Big Tree Plant funding scheme is open for applications. Over 30
projects from a wide range of community groups have so far been offered
£1.6m funding as part of this scheme. These projects alone aim to plant
an additional 295,000 trees over the coming four years - but we want to do
more in order to meet the target of one million trees!

The next application deadline is 5pm on 5 September 2011 so there is still
time to prepare your application. Go to

scheme administrator on 0800 856 7984.

Dear Helpline, Defra (CCU),

Thank you for your informative acknowledgement message.

Unfortunately as the closing deadline for applications for the Big Tree Plant was 5th September there was in fact not time for me to make an application.

I look forward to receiving the requested information.

Yours sincerely,

T Henderson

Dear T Henderson

Thank you for your email of 10 September about the Big Tree Plant.  I have
been asked to reply.

Although you have unfortunately missed the deadline, it is never too early
to contact the funding scheme administrators (0800 856 7984) for advice on
the potential eligibility of your project and on the application process.
If you are planning to plant this season it may be worth looking at other
sources of help, such as those on the ‘funding' section of the Big Tree
Plant website at:

http://thebigtreeplant.direct.gov.uk/fun...

The next deadline for applications is likely to be mid-March 2012, but we
recommend that you keep an eye on the website above for confirmation of
this.

Yours sincerely
