Dear West Mercia Police,

1. How many homicide investigations were launched in each of the calendar years from 2008 to 2018?

2. What was the total number of homicide investigations that were being actively investigated in each of those calendar years (2008 to 2018?)

3. In each of those calendar years (2008-2018) how many detectives were actively working in the murder investigation teams? If possible, can you list by rank?

4. In each of those calendar years how many Crime SIOs did you have working in the force on a specialist murder team? If possible, can you also break down by rank?

I wish to be informed in writing whether you have such information and, if so, I seek the disclosure of that information. If the information is covered by any exemptions, please disclose such information as is not covered by the exemptions.

If you are considering charging for the disclosure of this information, please inform me before any work that would be liable to a charge is carried out.
