Home Office

Waiting for an internal review by Home Office of their handling of this request.

Dear Home Office,

There is now a plethora of child sexual abuse operations by different police forces, so that it is now confusing for research specialists in this field. Could you please state how many current child abuse named operations there are, briefly list the operations names, which forces is carrying out, what is the purpose of the operation and when they started, under the FOI Acts?

It is a worry that police are underresourced for the amount of current child sexual abuse operations. Please could you list the total number of police and staff assigned to child sexual abuse investigations and total budget spend on child sexual abuse in 2014.

Bearing in mind the huge problem that child sexual abuse has proved to be, what arangements have been made to support and give therapy to victims and witnesses helping the policenin chidl sexual abuse cases. This is separate to what is being done for the Goddard Inquiry

I am willing to adapt my questions to achieve the time limit and to your methods of accounting or information holding if need be. Please contact me if so

Yours faithfully,

Cathy Fox

"If you are interested in obtaining a non-comprehensive high-level summary of current child sexual abuse operations (not including resourcing information) you may wish to consider requesting this."

Yours sincerely,
