Thank you for your recent request for information, which will be handled
under the terms of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 or Environmental
Information Regulations 2004 as appropriate.
 
Y ou asked for the following information:
 
Please could you confirm the following under the FOI process please?

How do you award home are packages of care fairly and in line with best
practice? Who awards these contracts?

How are care at home providers given equal opportunities to bid for work
and become a sustainable care operator across Cheshire East ? can you
demonstrate this?

Which providers have all standard homecare packages been awarded to over
the last 12 months? As it's public monies spent I would assume it's not
commercially sensitive.

Are brokerage functions assessed to ensure they are awarding packages of
care fairly and not being awarded to one preferred provider by specific
officers ?
 
Under statutory timeframes our response to your request is due by 22
October 2024.
