Freedom of Information Request F16-119

 

Thank you for your request for information as copied below. You asked
whether the Home Affairs Select Committee discussed the terrorist bombing
of Deal Royal Marines Barracks on 22 September 1989 during the period
between 1989 and 1992 and, if so, you requested the declarations of prior
interest from Roger Gale MP.

 

Matters discussed by the Committee are formally recorded in the published
Minutes of Proceedings for the relevant parliamentary sessions. There is
no record in the Minutes of Proceedings covering the relevant
parliamentary sessions (1988-89 to 1992-93) of the Committee discussing
Deal Barracks. Declarations of interests are also recorded in the
published Minutes of Proceedings. There are no declarations of interests
from Roger Gale related to Deal Barracks in the Minutes of Proceedings
covering the relevant sessions.  No other information or documents on this
matter are held, therefore the information you have requested is not held
by the House of Commons.
