Holly Grieg and Robert Green
Dear Prime Minister’s Office,
Under the FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT I wish to request a response to the following:
1 Can the Prime Minister's Office confirm that Mr Cameron is aware of the controversy and clear injustice surrounding the Holly Grieg paedophile case?
2 Can you confirm that the Prime Minister or a representative of the Prime Minister contacted Alex Salmond or other members of the Scottish Government or Crown Office in any way shape or form to discuss the case of Holly Grieg and/ or Robert Green?
3 Can the Prime Minister's Office explain why Holly Grieg was paid £13,500 compensation when no one has ever been charged with any offence against Holly Grieg? Can he explain why no charges were brought against those accused by Holly Grieg when the police medical report substantiates that she was indeed a victim of sexual abuse?
4 Can you explain why Robert Green, the investigative journalist who brought the case to the public domain, is the only person to have faced legal action against him?
5 Does the Prime Minister not feel the need to hold a public inquiry into the Holly Greig paedophile case and the clear miscarriage of justice meted out to Robert Green?
6 Can the Prime Minister confirm that a Disclosure Notice was served in respect of the case of Holly Grieg and Robert Green preventing the open and transparent reporting of the matter by the press?
7 Can the Prime Minister offer an assurance that this matter will be fully investigated in the interests of Justice and that all parties will be held to account for their actions in respect of this matter?
8. Can you provide copies of all correspondence between the Prime Minister, the Prime Minister's Office and any party in relation to the matter of Holly Grieg and/ or Robert Green?
Yours faithfully,
Paul Hughes

Dear Prime Minister’s Office,
Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.
I am writing to request an internal review of Prime Minister’s Office's handling of my FOI request 'Holly Grieg and Robert Green'.
The conviction of Robert Green is a clear miscarriage of justice and, indeed, a corruption of justice by public officials. The failure in respect of Holly Grieg is a shameful situation akin to that which allowed Jimmy Savile to ingratiate himself with the establishment while perpetrating shameless criminal acts both for his own end and the benefit of others.
Can you confirm that the Prime Minister is aware of the Holly Grieg/ Robert Green situation? That was part of my original request that you failed to address.
If he is aware of this shameful issue, can you confirm if he intends to investigate the situation in the interest of justice or if he is content to sit back and do nothing, as his predecessors did with Jimmy Savile and others?
Can you confirm, definitively, that a Disclosure Notice was NOT put in place to prevent press coverage of the issue?
If you are unable to confirm that a Disclosure Notice was not put in place, can you identify the person or office who will be able to confirm this point?
A full history of my FOI request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address:
