Dear Grampian Police,

Under the Freedom of Information Act, could you please tell me why the Grampian Police have not properly investigated this case or protected Hollie Greig?

This is case is bejond a scandal, I am disgusted with the cover up of these most base crimes, murder and the rape of a child with speacial educational needs, how sick are these perpetrators and how and why do they seem to hold so much power. I am lost for words here. I am looking forward to some answers from the establishment, who are digging themselves in deeper and deeper over this. Do they not realise that this is well in the public domain and too many people know what has gone on. Decent people are simply not going to tun a blind eye to this apparent corruption at the highest levels. I belive a criminal maffia is running the commonwealth and they are depraved monsterous and evil to the core. Why persecute survivors and wistleblowers unless you are hiding terrible crimes against humanity?

I stopped trusting the police when I was in my 20's. Having had dealings with them in the 70-80's, on the right side of the law, my trust was further reduced. I don't trust them infront of me, let alone out of sight! I'm now 71yrs old, so not a kid. They will protect the crimnal before the innocent.

Dear Grampian Police,

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.

I am writing to request an internal review of Grampian Police's handling of my FOI request 'Hollie Greig'.

[ I dispute the fact that you say I have asked for an OPINION. At no time did I ask for an OPINION. I asked for the REASON BEHIND A DECISION. I do not accept your response, which is a corruption of the facts, and want an internal review and a proper response to my question. ]

A full history of my FOI request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address:
http://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/ho...

Yours faithfully,

Jean James

Jean James, by connecting your question to be about a specific person, you have made the request not subject to the FOISA, it's Data Protection information, when it regards specific people, rather than stats, law or policies...

Sadly, the government of the once proud country of Britain is in the hands of a crime syndicate that systematically abuses the vulnerable.

So long as there are police officers, social workers and the like at large on the streets, then nobody is safe.

rapier left an annotation ()

As a HIGH ranking officer at Scotland Yard said to me in the 70's: We are above the law! Unfortunately, down the years this has become more of the norm for the police. They can do what they like and in general get away with it. Unless the whole of Grampian people erupt over this case, then NOTHING will be done about the officers concerned, from the top to the underling.

Jean James left an annotation ()

Yes, rapier, I know there is much corruption throughout all public services and Britain is becoming known as the most corrupt country in the world. They all seem to have lost their moral compasses to say the least.

Dear Scottish Information Commissioner:

I wish to make a complaint against the Grampian Police for refusing to answer my Freedom of Information question here: http://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/ho...

As you can see, they are continuing to insist that I asked for an OPINION, whereas I did not. I asked for a REASON why a case was not properly investigated.
There must be a decision recorded on the investigative case notes, and I do not accept their excuse that I asked for an opinion. I MOST CERTAINLY DID NOT.

I wish to record a formal complaint against Grampian Police.

Yours sincerely,

Jean James

Dear Gray, Iain,

Thank you for confirming that the case was not properly investigated.

Dear Gray, Iain,

Please now complete my FREEDOM OF INFORMATION REQUEST, in accordance with

Dear Mr. McCulloch:

Thank you for your response.

Although I do not agree with you that I was making a request for a comment or opinion, as I asked for a REASON WHY and also CLARIFIED it to them, as suggested, I am rephrasing my question, which I have also posted online here: http://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/ho...

As you can see, there is virtually NO DIFFERENCE between REASON WHY when I asked it in the first place and REASON WHY when you ask it.

Again, you can see for yourself from the website linked that I asked for REASON and not an opinion.

“Under the Freedom of Information Act provisions, will you please provide me with the reasons why Grampian Police decided to take no further action in relation to the investigation of the Hollie Greig case?”

Controversial or not controversial, the question was clear and simple enough, and the case is well in the public domain. I should have received an answer.

I am copying Grampian Police into this email, and I expect them to respond to me on the website, and not tell me to write a further request to stall for time.

I look forward to the response.

Yours sincerely,

Jean James

IN REPLY TO

Subject: Case ID - 201200677 - Grampian Police

Ms James

I refer you your email of 12 April 2012, addressed to my colleague Pauline Keith. You wish the Commissioner to reconsider whether you have made a valid application for a decision.

I have considered your email of 13 February again, taking account of what you say in your email to Ms Keith. Having done that, I remain of the view that it was reasonable to interpret the 13 February email as a request for comment rather than a request for recorded information. That email advances a certain position on a matter of some controversy, thereby inviting a response by way of comment or opinion, rather than simply asking why an investigation has not been completed.

If you are seeking information on why Grampian Police reached certain conclusions in relation to this case, perhaps you could phrase the request in a different way. You could perhaps ask for the reasons why Grampian Police decided to take no further action in relation to the investigation of the case.

Dear Mrs. McKenzie:

It is NOT a new request. Please do not treat it as such, but answer it
under the terms of the original request instead of using the rewording as
an excuse for stalling for more time.

Also, PLEASE POST ALL COMMUNICATIONS AT THE APPROPRIATE PLACE ON THE

be treated as such, rather than sending me private emails.

Your co-operation, or lack of it, will be evidence of your intent.

I am writing to request an internal review of Grampian Police's handling of my FOI request 'Hollie Greig'.

[ THE ORIGINAL REQUEST HAS BEEN CLARIFIED AND GRAMPIAN POLICE SHOULD NOT BE TURNING IT INTO A NEW REQUEST. THIS IS VERY POOR PRACTICE. PLEASE PROCEED UNDER THE ORIGINAL REQUEST INSTEAD OF TURNING IT INTO A NEW REQUEST, WHICH IS A QUESTIONNABLE AND SHADY WAY OF DOING BUSINESS IN MY OPINION. I wonder what goes through the minds - assuming they actually have a mind - of people that cover up the incessant gang rape of a handicapped child.

The streets of Britain are not safe for decent people so long as officials like this are at large.

We need to lock up the entire government.

Hi, to all interested parties re the police refusing to answer or using stalling tactics to delay answering perfectly valied and evidenced requests. This problem is not isolated to one police department, from my own lobbying I can evidence corruption and collusion, in the following government departments including parliament. CPS, POLICE, SOCIAL SERVICES, CAFCASS, IPCC,Magistrates COURTS, Ministry of Justice, Legal Aid, Family Courts, DWP and others. Re: COVER UPS ans WHITEWASHING of cases. This is a matter of FACT as mentioned in various public enquiries including LEVISON enquiry, still ongoing HARINGAY, KENT, CUMBRIA, etc. Criminal elite maffia, comes to mind. I have no trust in the current system whatsoever.E-mails to MP's are blocked or ignored, even when serious sex crimes re abuse of children are reported. They are never properly investigated. I have documented proof of this it is not my oppinion but fact.

I am a Retired elected public servant of 17 years service. As a result of my exposing this in the past ten years I have suffered abuse, with police involvement including a visit from bully boy CID, as have members of my family on two or more occasions bullying and false allegations, designed to discredit me and what i can evidence, including assault and battery on myself and my son and more. I do not make this annotation lightly, but this is the TRUTH from my own experience. The police with no reason are hostile and punitive with me, and have covered up their vindictive, and malicious conduct. It is an abomination, total abuse of power. These public servansts are the ones who need to be in prison. I feel very sorry for any decent ones who do have integrity that are stuck in these departments, my heart goes out to them. we no longer have democracy in the UK, we have demonocracy.

Sorry to hear about these problems. Grandma B has had too many similar experiences from a government that is utterly corrupt.

Her case is about to be debated in Parliament. Please see:

We second the corruption ... all these bodies put in place paid for by the tax payer! They send you around in never ending circles while they share all the information with each other ..FACT! and one by one they close you down.... we had 10 years of it and still waiting for the DoH to release the Prof Richard Baker report on the Gosport War Memorial Hospital.. what they frightened of??

Police, CPS, Dept of Health, GMC, NMC, PHSO, PCT, cut half of them out and put the money back in the public purse.. you should all hang your heads in shame!

Google Elsie's Law on youtube and Dr Jane Barton...
