Holding kennels for stray dogs
Dear North Somerset Council,
Please can you answer the following:-
1. The name/s and address/es of the establishment/s to which dogs
are taken when found to be straying in your area.
2, How often are the holding kennels inspected by the council?
Thank you

Dear FoI,
With reference to your reply, there is no 'junk' folder, it is a website. Please resend the information as this is as frustrating for me as it must be for you.
Yours sincerely,
Carla Bloomfield

Dear North Somerset Council,
Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.
I am writing to request an internal review of North Somerset Council's handling of my FOI request 'Holding kennels for stray dogs'.
I was told in a reply that I had been sent the information, but on asking the admin on the 'what do they know' website, this is their reply:-
"I confirm that our mail logs show no responses to this request from the council on 15th June 2015 or any other date apart from the emails already shown on the thread.
If the council can provide their own logs to show that a message was delivered to our servers we'd be happy to investigate further."
A full history of my FOI request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address: https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/h...
This request is long overdue now.
Yours faithfully,
Carla Bloomfield
We have a record of responding to this request on 15 June (one an acknowledgement and the other the information requested). We also acknowledged receipt of a request for an internal review on 14 August. None of these emails appear on the whatdotheyknow website. We are investigating whether our emails were sent on the dates that our records show.
In the meantime and pending the outcome of the requested internal review, I attach a copy of the response submitted on 15 June.

I will mark this request as successful because I did eventually receive the information, but the investigation on whether the emails were actually sent and to the correct place needs to be concluded.
Dear Miss Bloomfield
Please find attached a response to your request for an internal review.
Yours sincerely
