HMP Oakwood - Local Facilities List
Dear Ministry of Justice,
Can I please have a copy of the current 'Local Facilities List' (LFL) for:
HMP Oakwood
For the sake of clarity let me explain: Incentives Policy Framework dated 1 September 2022 sets out the 'General Facilities List' (GFL) applying to all prisons, from which individual prisons can choose what items inmates in their individual establishments may have in their possession - subject to the establishment security category and the incentive earned privilege level and volumetric control limits applying to prisoners within it.
The items an individual prison chooses to select from the NFL appears on the LFL, also accompanied with any additional items the governor has decided to add to the local LFL, and this LFL also dictates how such items when permitted are to be obtained; i.e. whether the items can be sent in by post, handed in on a visit, or have to be purchased through the prison.
To keep your costs low I have restricted this request to a single prison.
