HMO register from “sheffield city council”

The request was partially successful.

Dear Sheffield City Council,

I searched on your website and couldn't find a copy of your up to date HMO Licence Register as prescribed under the Housing Act 2004 s.232 (1) and the information that is required to be maintained within the register is described in the The Licensing and Management of Houses in Multiple occupation and Other Houses (Miscellaneous Provisions) (England) Regulations 2006.

The latter is extracted here for convenience:

Registers of Licences

A reply using Excel format would be very helpful.

Thank you for your recent request for information relating to HMO register
which we received on 14/10/2019.

Please find below, Sheffield City Council’s response to your request:

Sheffield City Council currently publishes details of HMO licences issues
at:
[1]http://www.sheffield.gov.uk/home/housing...

As this information is accessible by other means it is exempt from
disclosure under Section 21(1) of the Freedom of Information Act 2000.

The full register of licences is a public document able to be observed by
appointment and includes the majority of the information listed above.  A
full copy of the register is available for £1000, being the cost of
copying the register. There are currently approx. 1800 entries in the full
register, which comprises 8 lever arch files. Individual copies of a
single entry are available for £5.  If you are wanting to observe a single
entry in the register this can be done at our office at Moorfoot where the
register of licences is held.  If you are wanting to observe the full
register you should contact our office on 0114 273 4680 and make
arrangements to view the register at Howden House.  As the viewing will
need to be accompanied we would appreciate at least 24 hours’ notice in
order to arrange a full viewing.

We hold details of the majority of owners of the properties which are
registered on the HMO register, however this information is accessible by
other means and therefore exempt from disclosure under Section 21 of the
Freedom of Information Act 2000.

Details of the ownership of the HMO licensed premises can be found via the
