HMO Properties in Plymouth

Please can you provide me with the following information under the Freedom Of Information Act:-

a) addresses of all Registered Residential HMO properties that are within your councils area;
b) the maximum number of occupants that each property referred to in (a) is licensed to hold
c) the last actual registered number of occupants that each property referred to in (a) holds
d) the date each of the properties in (a) was first registered as HMO
e) the names of the owners/licence holders of those properties referred to in (a) and the correspondence address OR the registered "licence holder address" of the owners referred to

Please share all the above in a PDF, CSV, or excel format.

Following your request of 10 November 2021 I can confirm that the Council
does hold the information you requested. This information is contained
within the register of HMOs. The register of licenced HMOs is a public
document for which Plymouth City Council are empowered to charge a fee. We
charge £40.00 for a copy of the register.

 

Alternatively you can come in and look at a copy but would not be able to
copy it.

 

Before we can proceed with your request we do need to know if you are
looking for information relating to a specific property, street, or
city-wide, and the reason you are requesting the information. Please note
that the HMO register is not provided for the purpose of contacting
landlords and/or other parties, as the use of such information may result
in a breach of some General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR). If this is
the purpose of your request, we will not be able to comply with it.

 

If you would like to see a copy of the register you can email the above
information and your contact details to
