HMO complaints

The request was successful.

Dear Croydon Borough Council,

I am writing to enquire about complaints made by tenants about private rental properties in Croydon. Can you please tell me the following:

1)How many complaints from tenants did the Council receive in total about private rental properties between July 2012 and July 2018, broken down by year?

2)How many complaints from this total number were received in relation to Houses in Multiple Occupation (HMO) during the period specified in Q1, broken down by year ?

Could you please also break these numbers down by ward and include 2019 data if available?

This information is required in line with the current consultation on extending the licensing of the HMO scheme.

Yours faithfully,

Thames Menteth
