Historical size of The Rifles Reserve

To whom it may concern,

I am writing to submit a Freedom of Information (FOI) request under the Freedom of Information Act 2000. This request seeks information on the historical size of the reserve battalions of The Rifles.

Please provide the number of personnel in each reserve battalion of The Rifles in each year for which records exist. Please split personnel counts into four groups by commissioned officers vs other ranks and by those serving in the Regular Army vs those serving in the Army Reserve. Please also provide total numbers of all four groups added together. Please also provide these group and total numbers for the reserve elements of The Rifles as a whole (i.e. each group and total count added across the battalions).

Please provide this information in a spreadsheet file, with figures as accurate as possible. Providing this information in a separate spreadsheet file rather than embedded within a PDF file will make it easier to examine.
