Dear Freedom Of Info,
As the Inquiry has cost £700,000 of public money, the fact that, over a month after the Inquiry Report was published, UH Bristol cannot provide a financial breakdown of the spend, suggests a worrying lack of financial control in an NHS Foundation Trust.
As a member of University Hospitals Bristol NHS Foundation Trust, I must ask for this information to be provided as a matter of urgency, by 17th January 2011.
If the information is not provided by that date, I shall have to formally raise concerns with Monitor, the Foundation Trust regulator, that not only has the Trust breached the Freedom of Information Act, but also failed to provide straightforward information about the costs of an expensive inquiry paid for by the public.
Yours sincerely,
Mrs D Havercroft
