Hip operation statistics

For each of the last five complete financial years and the current years so far, please tell me

• The number of people over the age of 65 in your board area who have undergone hip replacements. Please give ages for each of the patients.
• The number of people over the age of 65 who live outwith your board area who have undergone hip replacements. Please give ages for each of the patients.
• The number of people under the age of 65 who live in your board area who have undergone hip replacements. Please give ages for each of the patients.
• The number of people under the age of 65 who live outwith your board area who have undergone hip replacements. Please give ages for each of the patients.
• The average a patient has waited for a hip replacement procedure
• The longest time a patient has waited for a hip replacement procedure
• Number of patients who have had the procedure at a hospital operated by another health board
• The total costs (inclusive of travel, lodgings etc) for each of the five years for your board for patients undergoing hip replacement procedures at other medical facilities operated by other health boards
• The cost of materials for each hip replacement
• The number of agency surgeons booked in to carry out hip replacement surgery in your board area and the costs of the surgeons
