Highway/Roads Maintenance Contractor/s
Dear Newcastle upon Tyne City Council,
I would be most grateful if you would provide me, under the Freedom of Information Act, the following details:
• Whether the council has a highways/roads term maintenance contract in place with an external contractor, or multiple contractors?
• Who the term maintenance contractor/s are?
• What functions are delivered by the term maintenance contractor/s?
• What are the start date & duration of the contract/s?
• Is there an extension clause in the contract and, if so, what period this covers?
• Has a decision been made yet on whether the contract is being extended?
• Who is the senior officer (outside of procurement) responsible for this/these contract/s?
Thank you for your help.
Yours faithfully,
Chris Cairns
