Highway maintenance expenditure

The request was successful.

Dear Vale of Glamorgan Council,

Dodging potholes has become the norm for drivers in the Vale of Glamorgan - and a challenging sport. Few notice the shiny new road signs at the side of the road, as they focus intensely on the road surface ahead.

For each financial year from 2009/10#;

1 - how much was spent on road maintenance in total?

2 - how much was spent on all types of signage (including road paint)?

3 - how much was spent on filling in potholes - and the associated costs of repair?

4 - how much was paid out in compensation for damage caused by poor road and pavement surfaces?

5- how much was spent on resurfacing roads/streets?

6 - at the end of each year, how many potholes had been identified for repair but not repaired?

7 - in each year, how many potholes were filled?

Yours faithfully,

Ian Perry
