Highclere Castle and Estate - disclosure of heritage management plan
Dear Natural England,
Background
HMRC retains a register of land, building and their contents which are free from tax under the Conditional Exemption Incentive.
The register shows that the Highclere Castle and Estate in Berkshire (the Estate) has a conditional tax exemption subject to an undertaking which includes the provision of both permissive access, the maintenance of definitive rights of way, and the preparation every five years with Natural England of a revised Heritage Management Plan for the land.
Request
Please provide a copy of the current Heritage Management Plan, agreed with Natural England, for the Highclere Castle and Estate.
Taxpayer confidentiality
If the Heritage Management Plan contains confidential tax information which should be withheld, I confirm that I am content to receive a redacted copy of the plan, omitting any confidential tax information.
Yours faithfully,
Duncan Dollimore
