High Needs Element 3 Top Up Funding

We're waiting for Jamie Bradford to read a recent response and update the status.

Dear Wolverhampton City Council,

In relation to high needs funding for the last 3 years:
Please provide answers to the following questions:
1. Do you use a banding/matrix system for ascertaining element 3 top-up funding?
2. What ‘categories’ of needs do you associate with each band?
3. What are the financial figures/amounts (£) associated with each band?
4. If a pupil requires 1:1 support is this included within the band values or is there additional funding? If there is additional funding, what is the amount that is provided on top of the element 3 to provide 1:1 Support?
5. Are any other factors added on to top-up amount – site specific, etc.
6. Last 3 years: Please provide the total amount of element 3 (top-up) funding paid out and the total number of HN pupils it was paid out to?
Many thanks for your help in this matter.

Yours faithfully,

Jamie Bradford
